Saturday mornings are more interesting in Alton and Edwardsville with Farmers Markets in each community.
Discover an unending supply of locally grown produce, fresh foods and locally crafted products at the Alton Farmers and Artisans Market in Alton and the Land of Goshen Community Market in Edwardsville. Both are long time favorites of local residents and feature great vendors along with entertainment and themed shopping events.
The Alton Farmers and Artisans Market is located in the parking lot at the corner of Landmarks Blvd. and Henry St. in downtown Alton. It runs each Saturday starting in May and continuing through October from 8 a.m. to Noon.
The Land of Goshen Community Market is located in downtown Edwardsville. It starts the first Saturday of May and runs through October from 8 a.m. to Noon.

- Alton Night Market – Held select Thursdays June – July from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. in downtown Alton in the Jacoby Arts Center parking lot.
- Bethalto Market in the Park - Held each Sunday from May through October in Bethalto's Central Park, the market features fresh produce, artisan crafts and more. Market hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Brighton Farmer's Market - Every Thursday in Schneider Park from June through September from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Carlinville Market Days - First Saturday of the month from June through November on the downtown square from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- East Alton Farmer's Market - Every Tuesday in Eastgate Plaza from April through October from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Farmersville Small Town Dreamers Market – Held on select days in May, August, and Sept.from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Hillsboro Farmer's Market on the Square – Held on select Wednesdays & Saturdays May through September on the Historic Courthouse Square from 9 a.m. to Noon.
- Jersey County Farmers & Artisans Market - Every Tuesday from June through September in the parking lot at City Center Plaza from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (no market July 9)
- Maryville Farmer's Market – Every Thursday May through July from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on 300 N. Donk Street in Maryville
- Melting Pot Market - First Saturday of the month May through November in Civic Park, Granite City from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Route 66 Main Street Mingle Market- Held on select Saturdays from early April through early October on 140 North Dye Street in Virden
- Wood River Farmer's Market - Every Thursday from July through September 4 p.m. - dusk in downtown Wood River
