Join Beth McGlasson to learn about the Underground Railroad in Jersey County. This 3-hour tour includes the routes freedom-seekers followed, where they sought shelter, and the locals who risked everything to help them. The tour starts and ends at the Jersey County Historical Society and includes stops at Rocky Fork Church in Godfrey, Hamilton Primary School in Otterville, and the Cheney Mansion in Jerseyville. Tours will take place Wednesday, April 23 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, April 27 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
