Join Pere Marquette State Park in Grafton for their Fishing & Night Hike Owl program Nov 1! Meet at the Pere Marquette Visitor Center for an educational program on fish and fishing at 5:30 p.m. with urban fishing coordinator Scott Isringhausen. Following the discussion, kids can fish at the blue gill pond that sits adjacent to the Visitor Center. At 7:30 p.m. the park will host a program on owls and other night animals you might see outdoors while camping, fishing, and hiking. Following the owl program, the park will lead a group night hike to listen for owls and other wildlife. The hike is around 2 miles long and partially uphill. A hotdog and marshmallow roast will follow the hike with refreshments provided! * Bring at least one flashlight per family!
