Come to Alton and see an American bald eagle live at FLOCK Food Truck Park on Saturday, Jan. 4 and at the Alton Visitor's Center on Saturday, Jan. 18 for FREE! America's magnificent national bird can soar on a wingspan of over 6-7 feet and weigh as much as 14 pounds!

Meet and greet one of the raptors at FLOCK Food Truck Park during the Alton Eagle Ice Festival Jan. 4 for an opportunity to take a photo with the handsome birds, learn interesting facts about the eagles and their conservation, and experience what it's like to see one of the iconic symbols of America up close and personal!

The eagles will be brought in by World Bird Sanctuary. Ask questions, shop for eagle souvenirs at the Visitor's Center, and enjoy the Eagle Ice Festival at FLOCK which includes food trucks, drinks available from the FLOCK bar, live music, live ice carvers from Ice Visions, eagle-watching shuttle tours (departing from the Alton Visitor's Center), Eagle Fest Beer from Old Bakery Beer Company, fire pits with s'mores kits for sale, face painting for kids, and more!

* Get your Alton Eagle-Watching Shuttle Tour tickets HERE! Eagle shuttle tours will be held at 11 AM and 1 PM. The 90-minute tours showcase the best spots to view wild American Bald Eagles in the Alton area. Tickets must be purchased online.

January: 4, 11, 18, 25
February: 1, 8, 15, 22

* Alton eagle-watching tours are by shuttle and limited to 15 occupants per tour. Tickets are $15 per person. Guided tours will be held at 11 AM and 1 PM showcasing the best places to view wintering American Bald Eagles along the great rivers.
