The Wood River Recreation Center boasts a gymnasium; walking track; gymnastics center; basketball, volleyball and pickleball courts; fitness center; and multipurpose rooms. The 30,000-square-foot facility offers fitness classes, adult and youth programs, kid's activities, and more. Preschoolers and senior adults, singles and families, teens and preteens enjoy the variety of activities available here. And this is a sought after space for hosting birthday parties, too.

During the school year, the After School Program is a popular choice for local parents. Offered for Kindergarten through 8th grade students, this program provides social enrichment, a homework lab and recreational activities - all with adult supervision.

Camp Otto provides before care, core camp and after care activities for kids entering 1st through 6th grades. This 8-week program runs from June through August each summer.

Nerf Nights are popular with kids ages 7 to 12. This action-packed evening features a variety of nerf games, including Capture the Flag, Humans vs. Zombies, Hide and Seek and much more. Pizza and drinks add even more fun to this special event.
