The Well on Main, located at 301 West Main in Carlinville, has a long history of being a gathering place. Built in 1907, the space was a saloon for locals to take a load off and gather after a hard day of work. The character of the space remains the same. The cozy downtown space offers seating for 50 guests. You will find tall ceilings, original hardwood floors, exposed brick, and natural light in this historic and beautiful venue.

When choosing the well, please consider set up and clean up time in your booking hours. A deposit of $50 and the first two hours of rental are due at time of booking. After cleaning expectations are met, the deposit will be refunded to you. The remaining hours of booking cost will be due at time of event.
