RipRap Landing State Fish and Waterfowl Management Area is a state-managed nature preserve and conservation project that is part of the larger Mississippi River State Fish and Wildlife Area. The park is public access and fantastic for fishing, wildlife viewing, bird-watching, hunting, trapping, and boating. RipRap Landing has multiple pull-offs and parking lots perfect for stargazing and the park has picnicking areas dappled throughout. The park is a wonderful place to keep an eye out for native wildlife such as American bald eagles and other birds of prey, white-tailed deer, songbirds, and other small native creatures.
