Liberty Apple Orchard in Edwardsville grows 18 varieties of u-pick apples and there is no fee to access the orchard! pick up a jar of delicious apple butter or apple sauce made from fresh Liberty Orchard apples. You'll also find baked goods and local honey from the hives on site. Bring the family to the thriving orchard located just east of Edwardsville to see a replica of a one-room schoolhouse, shop local goods at the farm market, and spend the day scouting the trees for the perfect apple!

Liberty Apple Orchard also hosts the Golden Apple Festival, an annual fundraising event with kid's activities, live music, great food, and more!

Starting in late August, Gala, McIntosh and some Blondee apples will be the first of the 18 varieties ready for picking! By early September, Jonathan, Empire and Cortland apples will be available, followed by Liberty, Fuji and Ultra Gold varieties. In October, late season Fuji, Braeburn, Ludacrisp, Enterprise, Evercrisp, Candycrisp, Goldrush, Pink Lady and Granny Smith will be available for picking. U-Pick season is from Mid-August to Mid-November.
