    Jersey County Historical Society Geneology Division (behind Cheney Mansion) is open: Thursday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday & Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Schedule a group visit to the Cheney Mansion, a 12-room mansion featuring vintage clothing, military artifacts, toys, pictures and other items of historical interest.

The Cheney Mansion Complex includes the Cheney Mansion, Lone Star School, McAdams Log Cabin and the Union Forest Church. There is also a Genealogy Research Center and Museum. The museum houses many interesting artifacts and collections, including an extensive collection of Native American relics.

Allow 2-3 hours to tour the complex & mansion. The cost is $5 per person for groups of 10 or more.
