Central Park is a five-acre park located on Wood River Avenue, adjacent to the High School. The park offers many activities which include a bandstand, playground, gazebo, barbecue pits, Veteran’s Memorial, and a large activity center commonly referred to as the “Round House”. The park is open daily from dawn to dusk. The Round House is open to the public during business hours. The Round House also houses the offices of the Recreation Department. Their business hours are Monday - Friday from 8 AM -12 PM & 1 PM - 5 PM.

The park also offers a new, one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive playground with poured-in-place rubber surfacing, a fitness challenge course that includes artificial turf and a timing feature, as well as concrete sidewalks and borders.
