The 1866 Fulkerson Mansion is a 14-room Southern Style mansion filled with Civil War artifacts and completely furnished with antiques of the period. Behind the mansion, the museum houses antique farm machinery. The Mansion is open for pre-arranged group tours.
The 12 room Cheney mansion was one of the first built in Jerseyville. The mansion features vintage clothing, military artifacts, toys, pictures, old fashion popcorn popping machine & other items of historic interest. You can also tour the Old Log Cabin & the Lone Star School behind the mansion. The schoolhouse is one of the oldest one-room schools in Jersey County.
